Casting Director

While living in New York City she began her film and television career as an Assistant Production Coordinator and Production Secretary on numerous television and feature film projects., working with an impressive range of well known directors, Gordon Parks (‘Shaft’), Francis Ford Coppola (‘The Cotton Club’/ ‘The Godfather’), Paul Mazursky (‘Tempest’), Michael Schultz (‘Car Wash’) & Forest Whitaker (‘Waiting To Exhale’).

Moving through the ranks, and learning the business from the ground up, she became a Production Coordinator on many popular films, “Do The Right Thing’, w/ Spike Lee, ‘New Jack City’, w/ Mario Van Peebles.

Lillian also coordinated an AIDS Benefit for New York’s oft-recognized ‘Hale House”. Supervised guest relations for Radio City Music Hall and was account executive for Elizabeth Taylor for whom she handled publicity for the launch of Taylor’s Passion For Men Cologne.

Lillian also provided the research for Maurice Hines’ Broadway musical ‘Uptown It’s Hot’.

After spending 25 years in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, and worked in the industry 5 years.  She returned to Cleveland where her industry experience and knowledge made her one of the most familiar and respected names in the 'Cleveland' Casting Industry.

and in the last few years, “Life’s Poison”, dir: Malcolm Lee, ‘Take Shelter’ dir: Jeff Nichols, ‘The Kings of Summer’, dir: Jason Roberts, ‘The Bye Bye Man’ dir: Stacy Title, ‘The Land’ dir: Steven Caple jr. ‘The Charnel House’ dir: Craig Moss, ‘Love Finds You (3 part series) dir: Terry Cunningham, ‘With This Ring’ dir: Nzingha Stewart.

Included in her professional career are many shorts, independents, industrials and commercials.

Lillian has been voted a member of CSA (Casting Society of America) the premier organization for casting directors in film, television, theatre and new media.
